While Ausaf relishes the thrill of trial, he also ascribes to the famous quote from Sun Tzu’s Art of War: “To win one hundred victories in one hundred battles is not the pinnacle of skill. Ausaf is also an experienced immigration and estate planning attorney. He is one of the few Muslim attorneys who have a deep understanding of the intersection of Islamic personal law and U.S. law. When not living and breathing his client’s cases and reading eastern philosophy, Ausaf spends his spare time as a father, Mets fan, aspiring writer, traveler, foodie, amateur woodworker, and kendo practitioner.
